Anonymous disclosures allow us to get an understanding of the prevalence of issues within our community. We use anonymous disclosures to identify broad trends or patterns of behaviour which can be addressed, for example, identifying training needs in a particular area.
It is important to understand, that if you choose this option, we will not be able to contact you and offer you any advice or support. The reporting system is truly anonymous so we do not receive any details about who is submitting the report.
We may also be limited in terms of the action we can take depending on the details of the report. For example, if an anonymous disclosure contains very few details we may be unable to act further and we will unlikely be able to launch a formal investigation as a result of an anonymous disclosure.
Remember that the "Report with contact details" option does not automatically initiate a formal process but it allows us to provide you with appropriate support and information about your options, so you can make an informed decision about your next steps.
