Bullying and harassment are contrary to the Equality Act 2010 and the School's policies.  
 
Some forms of harassment are also criminal offences, and you can - if you wish to do so - report to the police. The police provide more information about what is harassment, and how to report it. 
 
Besides the support resources available in the School, there are also a number of external specialist services that you can access.

Specialist Support 
 
The National Bullying Helpline offers a free, confidential service for anyone experiencing bullying at school, work, online or in the community. They are open from 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday. Freephone: 0300 323 0169 / Telephone: 0845 225 5787.

Young Minds offers advice to anyone experiencing bullying at university or work. 
 
Family Lives provides advice around different types of bullying, including cyberbullying and sexualised bullying, as well as when banter becomes bullying.

GOV.UK provides helpful information and approaches to prevent and tackle bullying and harassment, including racial or LGBT-related incidents.

Samaritans offers non-judgmental emotional support. Samaritans can be reached at 116 123, 24/7.

ACAS provides guidance for employees experiencing bullying and harassment in the workplace.

Victim Support offers assistance to victims of all crimes, including anti-social behaviour and harassment.

StreetSafe allows you to anonymously report safety concerns in public spaces to the Metropolitan Police. This includes issues such as poor lighting, vandalism or personal safety incidents like being followed or verbally abused.
